The Art of Presence
These practices are an opportunity to dive in deeper into the practice of yoga. They are geared to meet you at whatever level you are at and to take you deeper. All that is asked is that you show up with an open mind and the willingness to try something new. I do the practice with the group giving verbal/physical assists as we go. Occasionally we break out and do some partner work to encourage clarity and exploration of what is possible. Each month’s class is focused on a different theme and ends with an extended, rejuvenating, restorative pose.
Privates: Private sessions are useful in working with specific poses or specific patterns in poses. 1:1 attention is a fantastic way to define and refine actions in the body that lead to greater freedom in movement.
Semi-privates: Want to do yoga at 7 am? 3 pm? Semiprivate sessions are a great way to get your asana time in when your schedule doesn’t make class times possible. Classes are held for 2 – 4 students.
